Kitai is quite flexible and strong. She has specialized in bojutsu and buses it in the majority of her fights as she hasn't focused as much of her time on ninjutsu. She uses the fluid movements of bojutsu to evade attacks while using the energy of the spinning to make powerful attacks. Kitai has got her basics of ninjutsu down but has not gone on to achieve much more. As such, her genjutsu is quite lacking as well. Kitai is strictly short-range in her fighting, which weakens her. In a way to make up for it she rushes into position in battle to be quick to attack. This is also a drawback as she doesn't think about the situations for long.
Weaknesses: Kitai is weak in ninjutsu as well as genjutsu. She is quick to anger and quick to join a battle. This makes her think about situations less and makes it easier for her to fall into traps.[/ul]

Kitai is very tall for her age. She stands at 5'5" and 130 pounds. She has piercing blue eyes that look like they see into your soul. Her black hair falls not far from the ground, but she keeps it in a high bun with most of her hair loose below the bun to keep it from dragging on the ground or getting caught so easily. When on a mission she tends to braid it and put all of it up so enemies can not use it against her. As well, her skin is very tanned to show that she has been outside training a lot.
Her outfit comprises of a black shirt with purple trim along the edges. The top part of it, between the collar and the top of the shirt, spanning about two inches, and between each arm, is filled with fishnet, as is the bottom two inches of the shirt. She wears a short skirt and leg warmers over top of fishnet leggings, of the same colour as the shirt. Her shoes look like normal ninja snadals but they have a wedge heel. Around her waist is a loose belt, mostly used for hanging things, such as her equipment bag.
Personality:
Kitai is what people would describe as a bitch. She is often cold and though of as heartless. She doesn't care much about people around her, as long as she gets what she needs. She is quite stuck up and looks down on those around her. She believes she is better than others and uses people as stepping stones.
That's not to say Kitai really is cold and heartless. She chooses not to show many emotions. She thinks that emotions are a weakness to a ninja and perhaps they are. She's kept her emotions to herself for so long that she doesn't think much about it anymore. It's more so like she's forgotten what she really feels and the drive to be stronger and more powerful has taken over her life. One emotion she has had too much trouble forgetting, however, is her anger. It still resides within her and controls many of her actions like the storm after the calm.
One thing that Kitai is, is stubborn. Once she finds something she wants she fights for it. Nothing will stop her once she sets her sights on something. She will storm in and get what she wants or needs, if she can't do that right away she stirs up some chaos to distract others until she has gotten it.
Once in a fight, Kitai is quick to jump in. She doesn't usually do much thinking before jumping in. She would rather be in the fight and figure out what she is doing while in the fight. She is very much a "learn on the job" type of person and often learns things the hard way first. One she has figured it out however, she will remember it and learn from it.
History:
When Kitai was just a baby she was left on the doorstep of one of the ninjas in the village. When he opened his door he was quite surprised by her. She was laying on the ground in a blanket and she didn't look happy to be there. The man picked her up cautiously and looked around to see if anyone had left her behind. She was still fighting the unknown but calmed down a little bit when he shushed her. He decided that he should keep her as his own from then on.
The man's name was Arashi Dai. He became Kitai's "father" and raised her himself. It was a tough job and he had to work a lot to support her so he often was not home and had a babysitter to watch over her. When he was home he showered her with love and spent as much time as he could with her. He was a loving, devoted father, even if she wasn't his real child.
Kitai still grew up to be a little bitter and angry even with all the warmth and love her father gave her. He was a little concerned about her but continued to shower her with love all the same. He also noticed that she was stubborn and a fighter. When she was very young she caught a bad case of the flu and when things were looking bad she fought her way back to health. When she played, she didn't play princess or tea party, she preferred to play knight or ninja, usually playing with sticks as weapons. She loved to twirl them around.
He got her a trainer who would teach her bojutsu, so she would know how to really use the weapon she seemed to have chosen. She trained with the woman she learned to respect as her first sensei. Her sensei taught her a lot. She taught her more than just bojutsu, but also about controlling her emotions. Emotions could get the best of one out on the battlefield and could get one's comrades into danger. Kitai worked on calming her anger but that made her more cold than calm.
Dai decided he would enroll Kitai within the village's ninja academy when she came of age. He thought it would be a good way for her to continue to do what she like to do most. She was never meant to be a normal villager anyways and he knew he had to let her do what she wanted. Kitai, of course, was very excited to start her real training as a ninja.
Once in the academy she found herself surrounded by inferior beings who didn't know anything about what they were doing. She thought herself to be better than those around her and often beat the other children when it came to taijutsu. Ninjutsu and genjutsu were a bit tougher for her but she didn't find any reason to focus on them as much since she was currently passing them, if just barely. She found herself thinking she was better than those around her.
Many of the children started to hate her. They didn't think she was anything special and they didn't like how she always managed to send at least one of them to first aid by the end of the taijutsu sections. They ignored her when she was in the room or even worse, they would pull pranks on her. Those only happened a few times though because she would immediately punish those who had pranked her.
Finally she graduated from the academy to become a genin. She was glad to get out and have a team. She wouldn't have to deal with as many of the idiots, even if she did have to deal with two of them. As a reward for graduating, her sensei gave her a special staff. It could grow and shrink with the chakra put into it so that it wasn't so bulky on trips.
Dai never told Kitai that she was adopted though. That is a secret he wanted to tell her when she was older. He also didn't tell many people in the village either, so it isn't common knowledge. He will probably tell her soon, now that she is 12 years old and a genin.
