Fighting Style:
Haru is a combat specialist as well as an excellent diplomat, he goes head first. Trained with most types of weapons from a young age but is especially proficient with pole-arms. Attacks with his weapon and doesn’t use ninjutsu to much... mostly because he isn’t that great with them. If his naginata is not usable he carries a small hidden dagger in his left shoe wrappings. He was also trained in Shorinji Kempo for unarmed combat.
Appearance:
Haru is 5'4 and weighs about 110bls. He has a fit build. Haru is taller than most kids his age. His eyes are a rare dark orange color. Haru wears his family’s traditional monk clothing, a series of kimono-like robes over one another, usually shirtless underneath, but the top layer is a dark blue. He has brown pants and a grey sash belt. He wears blue shoes that tie in with the top half of his outfit, the left shoe holds a small hidden dagger. Haru has a shaved head. And strapped to his back is his naginata.
Personality:
Haru fights for what is just. Always stands up for what is right even if he is outnumbered. he always put others before himself. Because of this trait Haru is often taken advantage of by people who need favors done. He will do whatever he can to help, and won’t stop until you tell him. he turns everything he does into some type of training for himself. He loves his home land more than anything and would do just about anything to protect it.
History:
Haru’s family hails from an order of monks. His mother died giving birth to him. most of his order was killed off in the last war but some survived. because most of the older monks who preserved the old ways are now gone the new generation made some small changes. it used to be that the monks were not allowed to know who their parents are but after the war they needed to replenish their ranks if they wanted their order to survive, this brought around the change of the monks being allowed keep a family, train their children and create a strong bond with them. Since Haru can remember he was trained by his father, he trained in everything from war to diplomacy. One day Haru told his father that he wishes he could serve the people better and because of this Haru’s father decided to enroll him into the Ninja academy.
While in the academy Haru was a good student but wasn’t the best when it came to Ninjutsu, he was only barely able to pass the basic ninjutsu tests. He made lots of friends and was disliked by few. If there was an argument between two classmates Haru would step in and be a mediator. Because of this there were some students that thought that Haru was just a push over so they tried to bully him. they would call him names and make fun of his clothing but nothing they did made him angry, one day the leader of the bullies stopped Haru on his way to class and told him to hand over his lunch, so Haru did with a smile. The Bully hated that Haru was smiling so he took a swing at Haru and be for he knew it he was looking at Haru walking away while he laid on the ground crying. Haru told him, "Just because I won’t stop you from taking my lunch doesn’t mean that I won’t stop you from hurting me or others for that matter. Never forget that." after that day nobody called him names or bullied him anymore. The day Haru graduated his father presented him with a Custom made naginata. Haru has yet to name it yet.
