Character(s) Appearing: Date Munetaka, Tsuchikage (story teller)
Time: 10 AM
Previous Thread: N/A
NPC(s): ANBU Guards, Shinobi
Summary: Munetaka is given an important mission; one that will change his fate.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Munetaka released a yawn as he made his way over the the Tsuchikage's building. He had gotten a good's night sleep but for some reason felt really groggy this morning. Breakfast was a mundane affair; his dishes were starting to pile up and he really didn't want to wash them. Every morning after eating, he would go about his other routines, cleaning himself up and getting his uniform on. Some days he'd go through some documents sent from home, other times he'd go straight to the Tsuchikage.
The tall building came into view and Munetaka continued to shuffle his way in. Some of his fellow shinobi waved to him in greeting, others stopped him for small talk. As much as he would have liked to continue talking to them, he really needed to see the Tsuchikage. He was given a scroll last night saying he was to meet with the Tsuchikage in the morning for an important mission. All information will be disclosed then.
Ever since Oonoki had passed away, the new Tsuchikage had been sending out the shinobi on really strange missions. Some would come back, some wouldn't. He really doubted most of their force could be taken out by bandits and rogue ninja. The missions he sent them on were causing him to shake his head, wondering just what he sent them on. This was a time of peace so their shouldn't be too much danger out on the field. He was starting to wonder if the Tsuchikage really had the villages "best interests" in mind.
Making his way to the Tsuchikage's office, he stopped in front of the door and knocked twice.
"Date Munetaka here," he said in a clear voice.
The door opened, a masked ANBU appearing in the doorway. Munetaka was ushered in, the ANBU closing the door behind him. The Tsuchikage's chair had its back to him, only his elbows on the arm rests were visible as he stared off into the city.
