Description: By using the steel they carry on them, Date Clan members can channel chakra into the steel to form spikes that will shoot out at their opponent(s). As long as the steel is in contact with their body, they can freely move it around the battlefield with their chakra.
Strengths: Multiple spikes can be controlled with chakra and can follow the opponent. Depending on the users will, he can make the steel into small cords, to multiple spikes, or just a giant steel spike.
Weakness: Must have steel with them in order to perform the jutsu. Without steel, the technique is useless.

Description: Once the user has activated his or her Steel Release: Impervious Armor, their whole body can be freely form his body into weapons. Steel Release: Edge of Death can still be used, although the range is greatly increased, depending on how big the user is and how much extra steel they have.
Strengths: Weapons can be formed all along their body, making them unpredictable with their attacks.
Weakness: Uses up almost all their chakra. Should only be used as a last resort since the user will become unconsious once they are out of chakra.
