Akkei fights using logic. First he analyzes his opponent from a distance, preferably hidden if at all possible. Once gathering enough information on the opponent he places them into a genjutsu of some variety. While they're in the illusion he strikes them with the seal. And the real battle begins where he meshes taijutsu and genjutsu to finish off the opponent and appropiate use of ninja tools.
Akkei is a great at all forms of Taijutsu and Genjutsu, having a natural affinity for the psychology and physiology of being a shinobi. He's excelled his body to the point of being able to open five gates and is a force to be reckoned with.
Weaknesses:
Akkei is only average at long range fighting. Being able to send flying kunai and shuriken. He's extremely lacking in the Ninjutsu department to be considered a long range fighter.
He's also subpar with weapons, more comfortable with his hands and feet than an actual weapon.
the same goes with ninjutsu, he is poor with them and tends to avoid them relying on his gen and taijutsu to turn the tide of battle.

Akkei's eyes are a dull gray that seem to look into your soul. His hair a white color He only wears the left earring during formal occasions. His usual outfit consists of a black combat vest with sleeves littered with weapon pouches and matching cargo pants.
Personality:
Akkei is calm cool and collective. He tries his best to only say what's needed and nothing more. Always analyzing. He doesn't do too many unnecessary things. He tries to keep things logical but he understands the importance of emotion. He just stoically keeps his emotions to himself. He will fight viscously to protect those important to him, which includes his precious students.

Akkei's early years were...typical. He was born into a typical Shinobi family and had a typical Shinobi upbringing. He was revered as a genuis though. Getting top marks in the academy. He went on to excel on his Genin team and despite his young age at the time he even unlocked the first gate.
Originally with the exception of genjutsu, he just didn't have a knack for the shinobi arts. In short, Akkei started out as a horrible genin, and without much confidence. With time and dedication, and the guiding hand of his sensei, he became a much better shinobi though, master the iron fist, and the art of illusion.
With the help of his sensei, he went from slow learner to quick learner. Some form of chemistry developed between Akkei and Chozin-sensei that Akkei just never managed to achieve with academy. Giving him more determination, and more inspiration. With Chozin-sensei he was able to focus, and believe in himself. With this newfound belief Akkei took the next step with his jutsu.
He began to train with weights on his arms and legs, a common practice to strengthen one's self for iron fist. He trained day in and day out, if it wasn't his body he was perfecting, with sparing, and extensive physical workouts, it was his mind. He studied battle tactics, memorizing them, and the human psyche, learning how to manipulate it better via illusion.
Training with his sensei one da during a particular gruelsome Taijutsu match his once worse Ninja style (Which now weaponry holds the title of worse) through Sheer determination he felt the sudden rush of chakra and the freedom and ability to go above and beyond his typical limits. This had come from sheer determination to win, and the frustration that he wasn't that he couldn't react quick enough to his Senseis attacks even with his weights off. This was when he first began to develop Hikarimono Houretsu. At the time he only managed to kick his sensei in the air and then follow him up and deliver the final air kick sending his sensei back to the ground who had been totally flabbergasted by the outcome. His sensei was hurting pretty bad, completely taken aback by the power of the kick. After they recovered, and Akkei patched him up, his sensei congratulated him, explaining the eight gates.
At the age of 14 Akkei finally achieved the rank of Chuunin. It was when he managed to single handedly save his entire team from an Ambush during a mission. He lead his team to safety and brought back his sensei alive, even though his sensei had fallen trying to protect the squad. His Sensei died upon returning to the village, unable to be cured of the poison that had been injected into him. This drove Akkei to learn the healing arts so that he could not only kill his enemies but save his friends.
As with most Shinobi, the story of the mission Akkei earned the rank Jounin is one to tell the grandkids. He was on a mission leading a group of shinobi up into the mountains, when he got seperated from them via a rockslide, very quickly he tried to make his way back to them.
As he approached, he could hear the roar of battle. This got him worried, so he sped up even more. Quickly rounding the bend he released the gate of opening. Feeling the speed and power unleash inside him, in a way, he felt calmer, more secure.
He approached the battle field and there was his squad, all lightning elemental shinobi battling a extremely skilled Wind user. He was destroying them -completely. Akkei was scared. He didn't have time to falter though.
He needed to do it, he needed to use THAT JUTSU he had created. The Taijutsu Hikarimono Houretsu. Akkei Kicked the man into the air following him up with a jump, unleashing a torrent of roundhouse kicks as they ascend higher and higher finishing with a single kick to the top of the head that sends the foe pummelling to the ground.
With a grunt, he knew it was over, the man had died on contact with the ground. He was the hero. He didn't let this show simply looking at his comrades. assessing they would be okay before falling to his knees.
After being promoted, he continued training, meeting someone in the village who was able to train him to learn to access more and more of the gates. Honestly Akkei didn't know who he was or where he had come from. Bald and wearing a Martial Arts gui he appeared at Akkei's door one day offering him training in the way of the 8 gates. Apparently amazed to hear of a man so far north who had accessed the powers.
He spent months training, working his body to his limit, and then continuing. Daily pushing himself further and further to become stronger and stronger, developing a second Taijutsu during this process and learning to open the next four of the celestial gates. These times were brutal, and often interrupted by important B and A rank missions Akkei had to go on for his village, but over time, as he perfected his medical jutsu, he also perfected his work with taijutsu.
The days of training were long and hard, and brought Akkei to his limits. Despite the man's decrepit appearance, he was quicker and stronger than akkei, even without the gates active. In the beginning if akkei was throwing a left punch, the man would seem to react before Akkei had even moved his arm. Many many times he would push Akkei to access the first gate, making him more and more frustrated.
More frustrating might have been that the man showed no respect for Akkei, he treated him like dirt but continued to teach and feed him. Constantly pushing Akkei to go further and further with the iron fist. Akkei found a eerie combination of admiration and disgust for this man, but he continued training, he had to or else he'd never be stronger.
One day, he finally accessed the second gate, and he began to spar equally with his new sensei, His sensei called him dirt, telling him if this was the extent of his power, that he might as well just go home now. This frustrated Akkei to no end, he wanted to humble this old man, he wanted to show him he was worthy of his praise, with more and more frustration he opened more and more gates until suddenly he was moving so fast he didn't even know how he was controlling his body. He let it take over, figuring that instinct was his best ally in this moment.
He had opened five gates. And now was much more powerful and stronger than ever before, but with every second, he could feel his body falling apart, he was going eons beyond his bodies limit, and he'd already been training for hours that day. He hit the old man into the air with an uppercut. He then jumped up into the air after him unleashing an endless torrent of punches and kicks onto the the man as they ascend into the sky. Upon reaching the top of the arc he twirled the enemy around by the arm and sent the enemy flying into the ground. As he lands upon the old sensei he punched him in the gut, and continues to repeat this act, Punching over and over again. he Then Backfliped into the sky and came flying down one last time with an all powerful drop kick.
The man goraned and coughed as Akkei fell down beside him, the two woke up a week later in Cloud's hospital. The old man was laying in a bed across from Akkei, and the old dude was covered in bandages. "You did good kid, real good." he said. "You were wise, and now your body is full of wisdom too, the wisdom of battle, may it serve you well." he added before laying his head down, and going to sleep.
Now, taking that wisdom one step further, he takes a genin team as his own.
