Description: Shirohirameki is a rather peculiar looking weapon. It generally looks like a Nodachi, a curved and slender single edged blade attached to the hilt. The hilt itself is topped with a circular guard and is long enough to wield with both hands if required. The length of the blade is considerably longer than the average Katana. Around double the length, in fact. Measuring in at a lengthy one hundred and forty centimetres, it of course carries an obvious weight difference in comparison to a Katana. Approximately double once again. The hilt itself is decorated with a white cloth, with numerous golden strands reaching up in a circular pattern towards the guard. The blade itself appears completely clear of any blemishes, immaculately reflecting the world around it. Across the blade, from guard to tip, in a single thin white line.
Abilities: Due to the additional weight and length of the weapon, it delivers a much more devastating blow when it lands. In the hands of someone who can wield it efficiently it can effectively create for a truly frightening prospect to come up against. The blade itself reflects perfectly, making the user able to look at the blade to see what is behind them, or reflect light around an area. The most prominent ability, however, is what the blade is named after. When Chakra is flowed through the blade, the blade itself illuminates in an incredibly bright white. This is made to appear more dramatic as the area around the blade actually seems to get darker. This light is so bright that looking directly at it will cause temporary blindless (1 post). This applies to both the user and the opponent. This blade can be wielded in one hand, but it is considerably slower (-50% weapon swing speed).
