Kame walked through the streets of Konoha. She was just wasting away her afternoon on her day off. It was a cloudy day and it looked like it could rain later. That was later though, and this was today. She was kind of bored. She didn't really know what to do with her time. She had gotten out of the academy but she hadn't been put into a genin team yet. She was excited about a team but at the same time a little nervous.
Boredom was what was taking over her right now though. Complete, pure boredom. She didn't really have any money to spend, she wasn't hungry because she had eaten before she left, she didn't know where any of her classmates were, she didn't have any errands to run for once, and to top it all off, she wasn't supposed to go home because her parents were working on a bunch of paperwork and didn't want her getting in the way.
She whistled as she walked around, or she tried to. She couldn't really whistle. She eventually switched to humming. Humming was much easier. She always tried whistling first though. She wanted to learn how to whistle but whenever someone would tell her how to she didn't understand. It wasn't like she could actually look into someone's mouth while they whistled, and they couldn't reach in and place her tongue and lips the right way either. So humming it was. She hummed a nice little tune of a song her mother had been singing the other day.
Her mother often was singing. Kame was too scared to sing out loud when other people were around, which didn't make too much sense since she was willing to talk to anyone about pretty much anything. It was a weird quirk of hers. Her mother was never afraid to sing out loud though. People would often comment on her mother's singing voice. Kame loved when her mother sang. It always made her a little bit happier.
While she was humming she had closed her eyes. It was only for a few seconds but that was enough to cause a little bit of chaos. She had accidentally bumped into a guy who was carrying a crate of stuff. It fell to the ground and smashed open. He was obviously upset because she had turned what should have been an easy job into a much harder job and she had accidentally broken a few things too. The man yelled at her and told her off for not watching where she was going. She apologized profusely for the trouble she had caused him. She was really embarrassed. Everyone was staring at her and she could feel all their watchful eyes on her like needles.

Hiro was wandering again. A little bit tired, but why? He couldn't really remember honestly. His mind was all fuzy and he had a bit of a headache. Some of his cousins had thrown a party in their room to celebrate his and Midori's victory. The boys threw Hiro something, and the girls threw Midori a shindig. He remembered Sake... possibly a lot of it, and possibly him consuming a fair portion. The Sun was shining intensely well in his opinion. In all actuality, it was gray and overcast, Hiro didn't like that very much. It kinda hurt his head, and he had a headache.
His mind was REALLY fuzzy. He had NO plans on letting his cousins convince him to do, well whatever they did. He felt a bit weak and sickly and things only got worse when he got into town entering the market place. All the hustle and bustle was too loud for him, and he covered his sensitive ears. He looked left and right, remembering some advice he had got from one of his cousins. Drink water he said. So he bought a bottle and downed it rather quickly. It settled Strangely in his stomach. Weird to feel water settling at all. He heard a commotion and turned to look, he saw Kame-chan in some sort of trouble, an expression of embarrassment of being near her in such a condition took over his face for a moment, but it changed quickly to worry.
Quickly rushing over to her, he offered her a hand, "Hey Kame-Chan, what say we get out of here?" he offered raising an eyebrow, but he was a bit pale and his forhead was sweaty. He was clearly not at 100 percent.

Kame turned around at the sound of a familiar voice. It was something she needed right this moment. She found Hiro standing behind her, offering her a hand. She took it and pulled herself up. When she took a good look at him she realized he didn't look all that well. He seemed like he was pretty sick really. He was all pale and his brow was wet with sweat. His hands felt really hot as well. Kame immediately forgot about her own troubles and started to worry about Hiro. He had an empty bottle of water in his hands, at least he wasn't dehydrating himself.
"Are you okay Hiro? You look pretty sick. Let's get you out of here and get you somewhere you can rest," Kame suggested.
She took his hand and started to lead him through the village. She wasn't really sure where she was going to take him. She couldn't bring him home with her, she wasn't even supposed to be there herself so her and someone else was definitely out. It seemed like he didn't particularly want to be at home or else he would be there right now so she decided that was probably out. The only reasonable option left was to go to a restaurant or something. Some place where they could get more water for Hiro. Water flushed out the illness, or so her mother always told her. Maybe they should find a place that sold soup as well.
She led Hiro to a small restaurant on the outskirts of town. They were a small restaurant and it was off the beaten path but they had delicious food and the prices were pretty good too. She knew they had good soup that would help Hiro out.
As she walked in the doorway a young lady asked her if she wanted to be seated. Kame looked over at Hiro for a second. "A booth, if you could, please." she asked. At least then Hiro could lean over and he wouldn't have to keep so much of his balance.

"It's not that bad really... I just had.... an eventful night..." Hiro said, his eyes darting left, and then right. He did feel sick, but that was due to that stupid and moronic decision to drink with his cousins. He really regretted that, and even more so now, it was ruining his chance to be a super cool hero for Kame-chan. She didn't seem willing to take no for an answer, a worry taking over her. And she dragged him to a soup restaurant after darting through town for a bit.
A... booth? I'm going to be sitting in a booth...with Kame-chan? Hiro's mind began to race, picturing all the times he'd seen his cousins with boyfriends or girlfriends, always wanted to sit with each other. Right next to each other, holding onto each other. This very quickly repeated over and over again in Hiro's head. His face began to get more and more color, as his cheeks turned a bright rosy red sheen.
They sat down in the booth, the waiter saying he'd be back with water in only a moment. Hiro fiddled with a spoon and chopsticks. He was sitting a few inches from Kame, but still very much beside her, in a booth. This was what couples do, his mind was racing faster than he could process and sweat was beginning to develop on his forhead. This was way too much way too fast.
"So, how have you been Kame-chan, Team assignments should be soon, are you nervous?" Hiro asked, trying his hardest to not sound out of sorts, but he came across very much so as such.

The waiter came back with water after a minute like he said. Hiro looked even worse now that he was in the booth. He was sweating more and his face was really red. It really concerned Kame but she let it go for the moment. She just wanted to get something into him so that he could get better faster.
"Team assignments should be soon, are you nervous?" Hiro asked.
He even sounded sick. Kame really hoped that the waiter would bring the menus soon so she could get some soup for him.
"Nope, not really. I'm kinda excited to finally be on a team and go on missions," Kame answered.
Finally the waiter came back and asked what they wanted to eat. Kame just ordered two soups, with crackers on the side. She really liked crushing them up into her soup since that's what her mother used to always do for her. She wasn't sure if Hiro wanted them too.
"What about you? You nervous? I don't think you should be. You've already been out in the woods. That was already like a mission," Kame asked Hiro.

"I guess it was kinda like going on a mission, but I mean my dad was there, and Dad's rumored to be almost Hokage level..." Hiro said trailing off, he hadn't even ate yet, but he was slowly beginning to feel better. A hangovers most penultimate cure was always the passage of time. He gulped thinking about why Kame was acting this way and knew he owed it to her to explain why he was feeling so sick.
"So yeah... about the whole botching the looking cool as I came to your aide thing, the reason I'm so sickly today is because I'm kinda hung over. A few of my cousins threw me a surprise congratulations party for a successful trip, and some other ones threw Midori one, and of course, the boys were less well behaved, more savage if you will. so on top of the fighting, there was a lot of drinking, and I kinda got drunk." Hiro rambled, twiddling his thumbs and not looking directly at Kame, his cheeks turned an even fiercer shade of crimson than before. He gulped as he snuck a peak at Kame, wondering how she would react to this news.
She's gunna hate me, she's going to hate me, she IS GOING TO HATE ME. Hiro began to think as some sweat began to run down his forehead, nothing major, enough to know it was more so nervousness than actual sickness this time.

"Oh well. I guess now you know not to drink so much, because it leads to hangovers and uncoolness." Kame told Hiro.
He looked so nervous she didn't want to make him feel even worse. After all, the best punishment came from oneself. He was probably beating himself up more than she could. His face was all red because he was embarrassed and he was still sweating. It wasn't as much. she guessed he must have started feeling better. Which was good, even if the soup wasn't what made him better.
Speaking of soup, the waiter came back with their food. He also was kind enough to bring out some bread and more water. Kame thanked the waiter and then turned to her food which smelled delicious. She was so excited to dig in so she didn't hesitate. Her first slurp of soup was marvelous. She began to eat faster and faster. She had forgotten how her table manners weren't really the best. Kame turned to look at Hiro. He must have been disgusted by her eating habits. They weren't exactly the manners fit for someone of high class like himself.
She wiped her mouth on a napkin and smiled at him, "Oops, guess I'll start using the spoon."

"Yeah, I guess you're right!" Hiro said, a little flush building up in his cheeks once more. He smiled at Kame as she basically shrugged off his revelation. That made him feel a lot better, like a lot a lot. His beam was met by the waiter delivering them their soup. The bowl was placed down before Hiro, though he had smelled it since it began to be cooked.
It was a very dead point in the afternoon and they were the only customers in the establishment. So From the very beginning he had smelled the aroma of the spices and meats and fluids mixing together into soupy goodness. His mouth had been moist but as the waiter approached with their homestyle Chicken noodle soup. Hiro's mouth was salivating on overload and his saliva began to drip from his mouth as the waiter placed the bowls of soup with spoons rested neatly in them on the table.
Hiro's instincts took and he picked up the bowl and began to pour it into his mouth. He was relishing the sweet relife and taste, this was doing wonders for him, when suddenly he saw Kame politely dabbing her lips with her napkin and smiling at him. Oh greeeat, I totally forgot my manners Kame-chan is going to think I"m a pig! coursed through Hiro's head, a look of shock and worry quickly dominating his face as he dropped the bowl, breaking it and spilling soup all over himself.
A wet fool is a real fool... Hiro sighed as the thought went through his brain.
