Fighting Style:
As carefree as he seems, Hitokage is a very different person in
battle. He likes to stay in control when fighting. He is very much
on the offense most of the time. His mind is always trying to
calculate a next move to overpower his opponent with. He doesn't
always see what his opponent is doing but he does see what he wants to do next and works his way towards that goal. He likes to incorporate his daggers into his fighting as much as possible, whether that by by slicing his opponent or throwing them. He also uses mostly ninjutsu but also some taijutsu. Genjutsu is not his strong point, neither was it his father's and as such he never found much use in learning it.
Weaknesses: As much as Hitokage is good at calculating a way to his end goal he can not predict what his opponent will do. This means that the opponent can easily surprise him. His lack of skill in genjutsu is also a weakness for him. He has a hard time recognizing when he is under genjutsu and he also isn't very good at getting himself out of it.

Hitokage is thin but muscled. His forest green hair is about shoulder length. It appears not to have been brushed for some time and sticks up awkwardly in places. Hitokage's eyes are a patinate blue with a small ring of teal around the edges. His thin frame has been lightly tanned from the numerous training sessions outdoors and his hands and arms proudly display the scars from training and hopefully soon from missions.
Hito wears an army green t-shirt with a light brown vest over top. His green shorts come down just past his knees. His clothes look very ragged and worn. There are a few small holes in his vest already. He wears his headband sideways on his head. Hitokage always has random bits of jewelry his mother made him out of string and beads on his wrists and around his neck and sometimes if he feels like it he will put some of the beads in his hair as well.
Personality:
Hitokage is an oddball. He enjoys hanging from trees and watching people go by in their normal, everyday schedules. He enjoys studying what people are doing at any one time and that is the basic reason for his people watching. He is a very laidback person and goes with most plans as long as they suit his style or idea of fun since he is always looking for something fun to do, whether that be watching the birds in the sky, walking around with friends, or training.
He has a pet gecko named Koinu. His gecko is almost always with him, whether it be on his shoulder, his head or crawling around his feet. Koinu has been with him since he was born and immediately took a liking to him. Hitokage can't remember a time he didn't have Koinu and relies on him a lot. Koinu also enjoys climbing on the other people Hitokage meets and adds to his odd nature.
Hitokage enjoys speaking with people and often will talk to people he doesn't even know. He is very friendly towards everyone until they find a way to piss him off. Somehow he finds ways not to talk to people about himself, however, and can keep himself somewhat of a mystery. It's a good skill to have. It allows him to gather information from others, while keeping his own identity safe from others.
As much as Hitokage appears to be carefree and innocent, in battle he is entirely different. He is very focused and calculating. He sees moves he can play a couple moves before he uses them. He watches his chakra and conserves it for his stronger, more powerful jutsus which he can use later in when the enemy is tired out. In the heat of battle he goes back to the responsible, calculating little boy he was before going to the academy.
History:
Hitokage came from a large family. He has two younger brothers and two younger sisters. His father is a ninja, though not an important one and he often gets pushed to the back of other people's minds, and his mother sells trinkets in the marketplace. As a child Hitokage wasn't allowed to play as much as the other children because he had to help his mother out in her shop or look after his younger siblings. He never minded though and eventually volunteered to help them out.
However, later in his life things changed. Hitokage grew closer to the age of entrance into the academy. Hitokage's father told him that he would become a ninja. His father trained him on a few of the beginning techniques before he even entered the academy and continued to train him on a couple more techniques while in the academy. Hitokage's father became his mentor and pushed him hard. His father wanted more from his son than what he had become himself. He wanted Hitokage to surpass him and become the best ninja in the village, Kage. That was never Hitokage's dream, only his father's.
When Hitokage was in the academy people thought he looked weird because of his strange outfit and his hair, which looked unkept and odd, and also having a gecko climbing all over him all the time. The other children automatically stayed away from him. Hitokage was never able to resist this fact and decided to act strange along with his bizarre appearance. Eventually the oddball acting stuck and it ended up as his personality. It wasn't that he wanted to push people away, it was that he was never one to have untrue rumors about himself. He would have dealt with the rumors about how odd he was by proving them wrong but instead found it much more fun and way easier to prove them true.
The day came when he graduated and his parents were so proud. His whole family came to the school that day and Hitokage's class got to meet his younger siblings. It just so happened that that day they had found their mother's paint and had decided to paint each other for the special occasion. By the time Hitokage's mother had noticed what they were doing it was time to go and they didn't have time to was the paint off first. It only added to the allure that Hitokage's family was a bunch of weirdos.
