This country is located to the Southwest of the Land of Fire. It is very large, though most of the mass is covered in deserts. Despite the country's harsh weather they have a large population. Most of which stay in the ninja village of Sunagakure.

As the name suggests this country is full of water. The weather tends to be rainy, or at best, misty. The country is composed of many islands. Not much is known about the country because it keeps to itself. The ninja village is Kirigakure

The Land of Lightning is located Northeast of the Land of Fire. In the middle of the country there are huge mountain ranges where menacing thunderstorms rage. Rivers flow from the mountains to the ocean. There are many hotsprings in the village.

The Land of Earth is located northwest of the Land of Fire. It is mostly desolate rocks. It runs along a rocky mountain range, blocking communication between it and other countries. The wind blowing from the north carries rocks from these mountains to other countries, creating a "Rock Rain". The ninja village in this country is Iwagakure
